Thread: Where Best to stay

We are hoping to come to Cleveland sometime early September 2010 we are planning to go to Cedars Point for a couple of days can anyone advise where the best place to stay would be that would have good links to Cedars point and any other places of interest? Any help would be much appreciated. Lisajam

Thanks for your help I have chosen to stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites on Milan Road can you tell me if I can get a bus to Cedars Point or would you suggest a taxi? Thanks Lisa

There is no bus service in Sandusky nor are you going to get to Cleveland by any public transportation. If you do not have a car look for a hotel that my provide shuttle service to Cedar Point. Can't think of any that do, but I'm sure some may. A taxi could prove to be expensive. Your best bet is to stay on the grounds.

Ok, I live in Huron, worked for Cedar Point as the Director of Sales in Accommodations, worked as sales manager for Sawmill Creek Resort and live just down from Kalahari. I worked at 19 resorts and can assist you with plans. Just ask. I know the hotels in the area, locations, local restaurants which are your best bet for eating including a local Italian that is to die for just down from...
