Thread: When Burnnettes come as beautiful as Megan, why hype up Blondes?
Started 3 weeks, 5 days ago by ashar18-1
I always felt that the west's obsession for blonds stem only from the fact that it is a trait majorly possessed by them rather than anything else and i say this because if you look strictly from the perspective of vanity only dolls when presented blonds look good!!
As for the humans so even when one draws a human sketch most often than not he/she ends up painting their hairs black,
So why ...
Blonde is my least favourite hair colour. I prefer Brunette and Black hair.
"You idiots have just loaded up a hair-triggered double barreled sh!t machine gun!."
Because it provides variety. Some men prefer blondes...some prefer brunettes. Hell, some even prefer redheads. I think more men than not don't care about hair color as long as the girl is attractive and interesting.
I once had a professor in college who said one of the likely root causes of the blonde vs. brunette debate stems back from an old belief that blondes were considered more ...
Its funny how different cultures can interpret similar things so differerently. I mean while you are telling me as to how blond color could have been associated to righteousness and innocence in the Caucasian culture of the past, I can also tell you how having dark shinny hairs (and not light in color, as they are considered to be lacking life) with a fair complexion (neither too dark, nor so ...
Anyways, btw, I was just wondering that while for women having blond hair color does make some sense, Does the saying "Blonds have more fun" also hold some water in the case of White men?
Because If I am not wrong I have also heard terms like Tall, "Dark" and handsome/ Greek God (who are comparatively darker in their looks as compared to Caucasian) being used for admiring masculine looks in...
I think being blonde is more popular in some countries than other. For one, I think it has to do with the fact that true blondes are sort of rare these days. That's why redheads are pupular too: real beautiful red hair is something you don't see often.
For example, when I was in the US, people kept asking me if it was my real haircolour, because there are so many peroxide blondes walking ...
So I think more or less the consensus is that they hype that the blonds get is in many ways similar to the hype that panda gets i.e they are rare!!
Because if you observe the situation strictly from the beauty prespective the contrast of dark hairs with light (fair) skin enhances the beauty of a person much more than anything else.
@purple I think maverick hits the nail on its head when he/she says Science on that subject only works in a general manner Now that is exactly the point i wanted to make (before getting in to that petty argument about the usefulness of Science with you) ..anyways my point was.. That if anything, both generally & logically speaking, it should be the combination of dark hairs with fair skin (and i mention only fair skin here because this...
Science on that subject only works in a general manner. Individual preferences will never be grasped by it. For example: a lot of girls find Robert Pattison gorgeous. He has light eyes and naturally dark hair. You can throw all kinds of scientific bullsh.t at me about why I should be attracted to him, but that won't change my mind from finding him rather plain. I like Jensen Ackles much better, even though that might clash with your...
"Question: - Are men who prefer blondes just insecure? " "Why would you think of men who are into blonds as insecure?..Is it because blonds are easy to get or what ? " Noooo, I meant "innocent, clean and unadulterated" ie: virginal ie: no comparisons to make. ie: perhaps insecure about their own prowess. - Just a thought. PS – Are blondes easy to ‘get’? Sometimes...
Right. So tell me: why do I find the combination of dark hair and fair skin unsettling? To say that I don't like it at all is an understatement. And what about other ethnicities? People are different. If everyone found the same things attractive there wouldn't be chubby chasers or people who only like black chicks or any of the limitless preferences there are out there. It's common sense.
