It may not be as blatent (and scary) as the case you mentioned, but it goes on. Stretch marks get airbrushed. Lips are made to look fuller. Teeth become impossibly white and straight. What we see in fashion mags isn't real. In a way, it is a shame all those unreal images of women crowd out real ones.
