Definitely NOT "Crash." I'd say "American Beauty" for sure; and "Braveheart" -- totally overrated.

WORST. It implies finality. There are not two worsts. The worst award winner, "Oliver!" Anytime you have to add an exclamation point onto a film title you know you've got trouble. "I'd never ask you to trust me. It's the cry of a guilty soul."

Hands down, it is Shakespeare in Love...half of the movie was a friggen porno and there was no chemistry between Fiennes and Paltrow, plus the story was a bore (if it was not for Judi Dench's small role, it would have been worse than it already was). You had Saving Private Ryan, which told an incredible story and excelled in all other departments in ways SIL could not even touch. I'm not a...

Crash definitely tops my list. All I can say is that it was a bad year for movies the year that Crash won. If it had been any other year it never would have even been nominated, let alone have taken home Best Picture. I live in LA and I have never experienced the blatant and stereotypical racism that I was beaten over the head with throughout the movie, at least the part I saw of it, as I could not even get through the entire movie.
