I expect alot of P/Disney stuff between now and Christmas for sure. I'd like to see some of David Finchers films start making it onto the BD format soon. Oh and the four Alien movies would be nice too. Hopefully Fox will start to get their act together.

Well you can blame Jackson for this as he is responsible for the EE versions and he is planning to release them closer to the release of The Hobbit.

Recieved THE HURT LOCKER today and have just finished watching it. Superb film, certainly not the best looking blu-ray but the film more than makes up for it. Seeing as we are in the last week of the year lets list our top 5 films from this year and our best blu-ray purchase of the year. 1 - District 9 2 - The Hurt Locker 3 - Inglorious Basterds 4 - Star Trek 5 - UP (could change to Avatar as hoping to see it next week in 3D). Star Trek has to...

If it was like a diecast piece that would be sweet. Unless that is? The Godfather trilogy was fun to watch especially the restoration disc and docs on the films.

Few new pick ups Friday the 13th (new version) - It was alright. A bit underwhelming. I expected them to do something new with it, but it felt very generic. Also, all night scenes so not great looking. Knowing - Pretty fun movie with a really out there story. Very nice looking transfer with some amazing visuals too. Underworld Rise of the Lycans - I really enjoyed the film, but it's not very pretty. Overuse of grain and the worst use of...
