Thread: What was the last 'good' movie you watched?

Coming to America Was on TBS, or BET or something. I love that movie, but it was dubbed to heck.

The Blind Side Honestly, I didn't care for this even with the great Reviews and surprising Box Office numbers. My only issue is that it's a bit long. This is definitely Sandra Bullock's best work and her nominations at this year's Golden Globes (and The Academy Awards/Oscars) are well deserved!

500 Days of Summer - Joseph Gordon Levitt is a pretty good actor, he chooses to do Indy movies instead of the blockbusters (minus GI JOE). Check out Mysterious Skin and The Lookout, really good in both movies. Moon - Good movie, but the ending kinda threw me off a bit. It felt like they spoon fed us the ending. just watched terminator salvation on bluray, seemed to be better than the first time i saw it in theaters

Just watched No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti (2009), the Oscar hopeful for Taiwan (re: Foreign Language Film). Based on a true story and shot in black and white , this is NOT your usual blockbuster made of money and greed, but a low-budget yet sincere piece of work that actually reminds us what movies are all about in the first place.
