oh ok cheers, so i'm assuming torque gears can take more strain before they go then stock gears, right gotcha.

Its like the difference between First, and 5th gear in a car. First gear, has a lot of power to start you moving... but doesnt really go so fast. In airsoft, this is High Torque, your gears can take a lot of strain of a high power spring.... Pointless in Ireland. 5th gear, is really high speed, but low torque... you dont need much power to increase speed, because the car is already moving...

Mah, is the battery's current, it denotes how long the battery will last, a 1600mah battery won't ...

ah i understand what you mean, iv been having a look at other threads and i keep hearing about lii-po batteries do you mind me asking the difference between li-po and mah or is it just battery life. cheers for your help understanding this stuff guys.

Leftyflip replied 3 weeks, 6 days ago
Li-po is the chemical make up of the battery like Ni-mh or Ni-cd. The advantage of Li-po's are that they charge faster, they are smaller and give better r.o.f (A 7.4V lipo is similar to a 9.6V Ni-mh). However, lipo's don't last as long and can be dangerous if mistreated or not charged properly.

I have one, used and abused it in some attrocious weather (as only "sunny Sennybridge" can deliver) ... and it's still going strong. TBH, they're fairly new (in airsoft circles at...
