Drew, thanks for playing but you neglected to include a manufacturer for the next poster to ponder on. I'll address the VW question myself then: The model that I instantly associate with Volkswagen would be an early 80's Golf, I guess. RuubW, backtracking is definitely allowed - it's just that you overlooked the main point of the thread, which is dwelling on a particular model (or model range) which you instinctively associate with a given manufacturer. Corvette, especially the early 80's model . The looks of it... Of course also the Corvette Stingray and the late 50's Corvette, and the newer ones (ZR1, Z06). Smart? bahaaaaa. The Smart Car comes to mind but favorite model is definitely THIS. Ferrari? F50 but fav model is undoubtedly the Hamann F430. Next up, Dodge

First time i hear that kind of manufacturer, something like a Volkwagen, Right? just not german, but dutch, whatever when i saw that name i visualised a 90`s Passat. Next up AUDI! Edit, googled up that Donkervoort, seems like i havent missed much.

Renault: Association: The old but cute 16 which I, again, associate with childhood memories & nostalgic French movies. Favorite model: That'd be an Alpine A110. Still a Renault, obviously. Next up: Ferrari ! (Yeah, what the hell, why not?)

Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R Favorite is Ford GT90 Lamborghini? Also add to the rules that if a person has answered say a given company (like I answered for Ford) he can't answer it if it comes again later in this thread.

You guys are welcome to say a few words regarding the origins of a given association, y'know? Examples: I've seen a lot of those around / I remember this one from a movie I saw as a kid / I got exposed to it because of a certain game / my uncle had one / etc. You don't have to write a f***ing essay but I expected a basic justification for each entry when I created the thread - not a mere name-juggling contest.
