Hemi, it has nothing to do with saving a few dollars. They may in fact save more by bidding now. It has to do with holding a non-refundable reservation for 7 months. There will be PL hotels for them to bid on 4 and 5 months from now. They should have absolutely no concern that PL will run out of hotel rooms for them.
