Most will agree that the following guns are the ones most frequently considered to be the most accurate... out of the box. SIG P210 (the P210-6 in particular) H&K P7M8/M13 H&K P9s 9mm Target Pardini GT S&W 952 Sig Sauer P225, P226 CZ75 (and variations like the Swiss Sphinx) Browning HP Walther P88 There are others I'm sure, but if you did a search of the web, these would...

FWIW: I had an S&W 952 and didn't like it. I had hoped it would be a 9mm version of my 52-2 but it wasn't. The trigger wasn't as good and it was very hard to disassemble for cleaning. (there is a trick to aligning the floating bushing that I couldn't master) A couple of years later I was talked into handling a Sig 226 X5 Comp. I bought it immediately. Mine has a 2.5 lb. trigger and is ...

If you mean actually used in combat, then many already listed are out of the running, IMO, as they haven't seen combat use. A stock BHP is pretty good, used by many forces for years. The CZ 75 and it's scores of clones are OK. The Beretta M9 is certainly considered an accurate pistol The HK P7 was used by several forces, GSG9, ROKs, Greeks. But the HK MK23 is a match ...

How about the Star MOD 30MI? I have one and it's a monster. It's very heavy, which really reduces felt recoil. Accurate double taps are a breeze. It was my first 9MM and it's still my only one. I've shot many 9MMs at the range or with with friends but this thing is the best shooting one so far.

I've seen people shoot Hi Points remarkably well. I've seen their friends, who are normally dead-eyes, shoot the very same gun poorly. I shoot my CZ75B remarkably well, but I shoot my buddy's Beretta 92 poorly (which he shoots very well). He doesn't like shooting my CZ75. There is no answer to this question. Work with what you have and become proficient with it. Then ...

Quote: Just about any hand gun will be able to shoot with more accuracy than 99% of the people buying them. That's true - I knew a guy who was amazingly accurate with a cheap Soviet made Makarov.

It's probably as simple as no manufacturer feels like they could sell enough pistols to make it worthwhile at the cost they think they could sell them for.

Actually, I think mavracer got it right about the artillery Luger. I've never shot one but have shot the normal P08s. I think one with that long barrel would be a true tack driver. However, I'll still put the Star up against any of the others.

A bit of a highjack...If the 210 is so sought after then why not bring it back? Surely they could produce this firearm at a reasonable cost? Lets say they charge $1200 for it. There has to be a good profit there. Am I missing something? Beentown

My p225 is super accurate... I'm not sure why that wasn't included on the list or guns. Just throwing it out there.
