What is the benefit of having the HUGE Garage fans on the day before a cleaning? There are several answers to this question, no one will be wrong. One answer is the Toxic fume limits....ESPECIALLY for the multiple boilers in use. The higher your BTU's the more Toxic Fumes you will produce.

You want to make sure that the fans are in working order for a test run 24 hrs before the day you are schedule to arrive on the job. By having them on a full day before, the garage will be " Cooler" and you will notice that the air is " Fresher". You will also notice a breeze within the garage. This will also help in the high Temp issues that one MAY have while doing the cleaning.

Burners do not produce as much CO2 as they do CO, which is actually poisonous to humans. If you do garages, many of them will have CO sensors in them. You should also have a contact number for immediate contact if there is a problem in a garage. I charge a down time fee if I have to wait for someone to repair something in a garage. As I said before, We have noticed in our 21 years of cleaning nothing but garages, that by having the fans on a day or two before, you limit the need of down time to your customer, thus pissing your customer off because of a problem with the fans, thus charging them for your down time, as you suggest. By having them on the day before, you and the facility will confirm that the fans are in working...

As I said before, We have noticed in our 21 years of cleaning nothing but garages, that by having the fans on a day or two before, you limit the need of down time to your customer, thus pissing your customer off because of a problem with the fans, thus charging them for your down time, as you suggest.
