I mean, Creationism is a plays a big part in Christianity. Isn't that like an Atheist who doesn't believe in God but he believes in Satan?

I think of a modern Christian who is willing to let go of the very conservative old ways. I think of a Christian who looks forward to change. Also you can accept evolution yet believe in creationism in a theistic evolution like theory! Edit: I totally agree with Voodoo mathemagigi....

No such thing. A Christian who rejects Creationism is an atheist since Creationism is the whole idea that God exists and all. However, it is possible to accept Creationism and evolution since evolution is the fact that life has changed in inheritable ways, and it it says nothing of the origins of life. The two terms are not mutually exclusive.

I also think they are on the right path. Only in the most reactionary versions require rejection of science. Every other version I know of is quite alright with theistic evolution.

Oddly enough, it wasn't until Darwinism and Rationalism merged that it became you either believed in science, or religion, and religion was considered wrong. Before that, most of the scientific community were religious, and felt that science was a way of coming closer to God by studying his creation. It seems that maybe there is a point to claiming they have become competing memes.

I think they can believe what they want. There are tons of translations of the bible and everybody nitpicks at it so why would it be such a bad thing if a christian can interpret it in the way of evolution.

I think of them better than those who claim evolution is a lie. I don't mind the people who believe that god created or had a hand in creating things as we know them to be. Believing something when there are facts out there to prove a stance incorrect however is foolish. Even the catholic church became vague, saying that faith and the scientific findings of evolution are not in conflict, ...

Those that accept Creationism blindly are to be regarded suspiciously, even within Christian circles. It is an indication that somebody has chosen to take the Bible so literally so as to be able to manipulate its meaning to suit almost any purpose. It shows dedication to words and statements as opposed to understanding and meaning! I would not want a Creationist near a hospital position such as doctor or nurse, or any research oriented...

I would think they are a Christian who can think rationally. Creationism is only pushed by fundamentalist Christians who feel threatened by science and rational thought. Mainstream Christianity tends to have no issue with The theory of Evolution.

Well for one he is not a Christian, he may refer to himself as one, that doesn't mean it is so, anyone can Claim to be one, doesn't mean he is.

Good for them. It's not my job to save, that's Jesus'. Besides, God can never allow himself to be proved lest he be an idol. Satan knows who God is and trembles.
