Thread: What do I clean my kitchen cabinets and drawers with? - Yahoo! Answers

We just bought a house and I need to clean the kitchen up before we move in, but I am not sure of what cleaners to use. After they are clean I plan on putting some type of liner in there, but I need to know what to use. I was thinking of using dish detergent, or lysol.... please give me a suggestion of what will work well in the cabinets and drawers.

I highly recommend using the power of steam, especially in the kitchen. If you don't have one, I hope you will consider getting a steam cleaner. They are so useful. It would clean your drawers and cabinets without leaving any chemical residue. Steam is also the best cleaner for the fridge, microwave, floors, cutting boards, and lots more. Dish detergent might get the wood color off the cabinets so don't do that. I clean my cabinets with an oil mixture from Old English, you can buy that from Home Depot and it's preserves your cabinets longer and makes the color richer and it also has a lemon scent to it. Remember to clean your cabinets every two months to keep the color nice and clean. You can buy many liners from Home Depot too, I...
