Thread: What brought u to the show? & 1st impressions

I think this is all really interesting. Mainly, the few of you who have watched the show since it started! Did you guys think you would be watching it this long or it would be as big as it has become?

I was pretty young when I started watching in 1979-ish at aged 7. I don't remember my first impression, but I kinda thought GH was a bit of a crime show like Edge of Night. They both seem to always have some sort of crime story going on. I started watching right when Luke raped Laura and though at the time I didn't know rape was, I knew Luke did something bad to Laura and they always seemed to running away from something. Tee. Hee.

Well it all started by me being born while my mom was watching One life to Live lol and when I was little I would catch GH on every now and then. But I didn't get hooked till later teen days. Now, I'm obsessed lol My great grandma, grandma, and my momma watch it with me I don't remember what was going on though when I first saw it
