Pretty self explanatory. What are you reading now? Feel free to talk a little bit about it. I'm actually not reading anything right now, I just finished a book today and I'm gonna go to the bookstore tomorrow probably. I'll chime in later.

Well, I just (about ten minutes ago) finished reading Forever Odd , by Dean Koontz. It's the second in a series he wrote and is presumably continuing. I have the third book, so I'll start that today. I'm also reading Carrie , by Stephen King. I think it's his first novel. I'm not really impressed by it. The murderer is the protagonist. Interesting perspective, but not told well enough to work...

The Godfather by Mario Puzo (it was a book before the movie)

If the Godfather novel is any good, I'll have to look into it. And by that I mean borrow it from you when you finish. Must be a thousand pages long, though.

Okay, I bought Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke. I haven't read much but the premise seems cool. Two magicians living in the years that Napolean was in power, who end up competing with each other in an alternate reality.

I just got back from the mall, and I got the last Series of Unfortunate Events and the latest Artemis Fowl book. Yes, 700 pages should last me about a week! I'll put a personal review up when I'm done with either of 'em.

AJ replied 2 years, 9 months ago
How many of those unfortunate event books are there? Last I checked - 13, but I'm sure they're more by now.

Joad replied 2 years, 9 months ago
13's the last one! Its called "The End." Its hard to believe this thing is pretty much done...

AJ replied 2 years, 9 months ago

I am reading a book for school, it's called "The Trouble With Lemons". I don't like to read, but I always have to for school, but luckly we are reading a easy book, and the author of it is only a few citys away, like (40mins away) I like the book so far, it isn't as sad as the last book I had read (Night)

I need to get Great Expectations read by September 2nd. Well, odds are I won't have the test the first day of school, but I'd rather be done with it by then. I have it figured out that I'll be done barely in time if I read two chapters a day. Along with that, next time I'm at the library I'll get The Sun Also Rises from Hemingway. That's the other book I need to read for next year, but it shouldn't be an...

I recently finished Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. Yes, i usually read novels. about dragons. and magic. Currently I'm reading a book called The Dragon Heir by Cinda William Chima. And I am waiting, with extreme anticipation, for The Sorceress by Michael Scott. It's the 3rd book in the series he started with The Alchemyst (i could go on forever about the book... it may be aimed for the younger ages, but yeah, i love it). And i...

Oh and Ich, I share your sentiments on Cormac MacArthy(no country for old men). I read some of the Road and his style just annoyed me.

I have decided that I will start reading the Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It is sad to hear about the Harry Potter actor today.
