I consider myself to be a liberal, but on whole if one examines my thought process I'm generally more for individual rights and less for government interference. I do however believe that if the government is going to interfere, it must do it correctly. No unfunded mandates and nothing without teeth.

I am conservative with an independent streak in me. I find myself agreeing with the constitution party, the libertarian party & the republican party at different times --- rarely do I agree with democrats or what seems to have become the modern liberal.

Fiscally conservative Conservative...VERY much so...I believe the government should stay the hell out of our wallets as much as possible... My "social side" would also be considered conservative, but, to be honest, my priority for it is low...I'm against abortion, but don't pick up posterboards or shout it from the mountaintops...I'm against gay marriage, but if it happens, I don't gnash my...

People who first meet me think I'm conservative, but once they get to know me see some decidedly liberal aspects to me. In the end they all comment on my moderacy, which would have offended me when I was younger. Not so anymore, I like the way I have 'slowed' down and become very thoughtful about all matters in life. So "moderate" I am, which I guess means I've got shades of both right/left and ...

I'm an Independent fiscal conservative who reserves the right to lean left on a few social issues. I'm hesitant to join or remain a member of a political party.I believe our vote and support should be earned and not just taken for granted by being a member of a parties base! I tend to vote Democrat in presidential elections but I do not support the Democratic (party) in state elections. I ...

"After all, it's been shown numerous times that the more and better-educated a person is, the more likely they are to be liberal, or -- at least -- less conservative." I like to see proof of that!

LOL! I am many things! But..... I suppose I am moderate to liberal and almost always vote dem. Can't rule out a vote for a 3rd party someday. *I vote for people that want to powerfully represent the voiceless in our society...the poor and middle class. In our civil society, I don't believe in "survival of the fittest". This is my major issue. *I don't like the death penalty. *I didn't spank my kids and...

Hhmm... I am an Independent. Neither party has more than 50% of my ideology. My basic philosophy is live and let live until it threatens to hurt someone else then let's make a rule and enforce that rule. Other than that I am for the death penalty in instances of heinous crime. I believe police are there to protect us and also to uphold laws. They can be human like anyone else and need to work on the same things we all need to work on:...
