Hello all, I have read a lot of stuff on this site but this is my first post. I am a male in my 20's and have OCD along with depression. I was put on Zoloft about a month ago and it is helping. This is one of the typical symptoms there. Unless, of course, it is genetically conditioned. At one point of my taking Paxil, I was losing my hair like crazy. Now the things are much better. This might have something to do with a poorer blood circulation when you're on SSRIs.

1. In my case, it was thinning 2. There's no rule. My hair would get thinner, then for some months there would be some improvement and then again it would get worse 3. receding-yes, and also the top of the scalp 4. Ryan(14 at the time) had significant generalized hair loss on paxil. It corrected once he was off paxil.
