You should watch that movie sometime.It has a lot of useful information in it. Protecting something that doesn't actually exist? For the life of me, I cannot fathom the hostility that the "progressives" express towards protecting our access to the production and distribution of oil. Like it or not, our society runs on oil. While I agree that we need to find alternatives to oil and that we will be more secure when we do so, for the time being we could no more do without oil than we could without air.

Is such a force a realistic possibility? Would this muslim "stabilizing force" fight the Taliban to preserve the Karzai government? What Margolis avoids in his brief and unrealistic alternative is what will likely happen when the US and NATO forces pull out.
