FarmVille?

Hi Farmers,
To ensure that future international holidays are appropriately recognized, we would like to ask our players to let us know what holidays/days of importance are most significant to them.
While there is no guarantee that all of these days will be celebrated in FarmVille, we would like to better understand what holidays mean the most to our users, so we can further accommodate...
Canada has holidays that really aren't all that important to most... but...
Canada Day is July 1st, Thanksgiving is always the second Monday of October, Remembrance Day is November 11..

I imagine it will be impossible for you to see that your post is just as divisive as those suggesting military banners. It would be nice to have made-up farmville holidays to celebrate different countries, with maybe a limited crop, animal or decoration specific to that country. For example: (I'm gonna use Ireland cos thats what I know) You could have Ireland day, and you could have shamrocks as a crop, a giftable Ireland flag, decorative leprechaun gnomes, a cottage with a thatched roof and stuff like that. It would be good to learn about new cultures,...
Let's try something broader than nation-specific holidays, maybe UN recognized one. Something in the lines of peace and tolerance. There are hundreds of internationally observed days. Here is a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_observance For instance: - World Animal Day October the 4th And since we are all like children, let's observe: - International Children's Day: June 1st

The DATE is easy. When did Farmville debut? We could have random retired items showing up to cerebrate. (This also allows those that came in to late to be gifted an Elephant or buy a green cow to still get some of the cool stuff.)

It does not mean that someone is waging a "War... It does not mean that someone is waging a "War on Christmas" if they acknowledge that other holidays are celebrated this time of year.
