8/10 westworld is one of a VERY FEW 1970s SF films that was any good and had actual production values. it also has a compelling story. it was a childhood favorite and STILL holds up pretty well. yul brenner makes for a good villain. future world ? 3/10 what's to say? it's just a crappy sequel trying to cash in on the original and is similar to logans run in style. i haven't seen it in a ...

7/10 A good enjoyable movie but nothing great. The movie had some things that weren't very logical but was a good precursor to films like Terminator and even a little bit of it can be seen in Alien.

future world was just on TV yesterday, and was a lot better than i remembered. it was mostly just a location & rubber suit film, but it DID have a couple great locations and a different take on the material than the first film. i'd like to revise my vote to 6/10. it's not bad, nor is it spectacular either. One can often wonder why such a great actor as Yul Brenner would star in this type of film. I am a sci-fi buff and wondered myself. But after seeing this film, it was a good career move by YB. Its a classic with a great imaginative plot. It stands the test of time and is quite enjoyable.
