hi all. i have a 2 year old min pin and he's had this weird skin issue for a year now. It started with a spot on his back where the fur began loosing a bit of color and turning redish. Then overtime the hair on the spot seem to be shorter and thinner than the other areas. Now the weirdest part is the spot is indented. i took him when it was a red spot and he had no clue wat it was and said it looked fine. I havent taken him since then, everything else seem to be fine. I'll get them to look at it next time im in there. But just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this for the time being

There are several things that can make the hair turn red and brittle. An illness or vitamin deficiency such as from poor nutrition or the dog being unable to utilize the nutrients in his food properly.
