Thread: WednesDAILY 11/04

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by Bianca
So, how was everyone's night last night? Mine was good! I had a major NSV last night. I was alone with Layla (DH works for PJ Foodservice and has 24-hour truck driving routes) and I was trying to decide what to do for dinner. I had been to the grocery store which delayed me getting home and I needed something quick because it was already late. We had leftover pizza sitting on the stove ...

Well, I can't come and post Happy Monday.. But I can say, atleast we are ANOTHER day closer to a LONG weekend! I was at a different center yesterday, and will be there today.. which means I don't see my School-Age group before they go back to school! I have an hour lunch today, so maybe I will drive over and see them and thank them for the great summer. I did enjoy the other center ...

Well, hello September! Whew, it ias been a whirlwind past two months. Kinda glad that summer is winding down and we are slowly approaching the Fall. The scale had me at 120.4 this morning, so I am still maintaining my weight. DB and I have been biking a lot again --- we did 26 miles this weekend, and 42 the prior. So this, along with my toning classes at the gym is helping me stay active...

Does your daughter have any pre-existing medical conditions? While the Swine flu is definitely scary due to the increased media attention it has received, the illness acts pretty much the same as the "regular" flu. While it certainly is your decision, if your daughter is otherwise healthy, I would agree with your husband on this one. This is a great opportunity for you to review the importance...

We all had the swine flu here in May. It did start in my son's grade 1 class and then we caught it. It wasn't pleasant but it also wasn't the worst bug that the kids have brought home from school. Kids are petrie dishes, especially that first year. But the reality is that you could keep her out of school and she could still catch it from any number of places.

Thanks for posting this, Kris! There are a bunch of great ideas, can't wait to try them!

Anyone have the healthy 9s in hand? I do WW at home and just want to make sure I've got the right ones.

itstime1016 replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Here is what I found from google- Did you... ..have 6-8 glasses of liquids? ...take your vitamin? ...eat at least 5 fruits and veggies? ...choose lean proteins? ...choose healthy grains? ...have at least 2-3 dairy servings? ...get your 2 tsp healthy oils? ...Limit usage of sugar and alcohol? ...exercise?

Oh, and I am still in for this challenge! I know that I won't be able to make it to the gym everyday while I am on vacation, so my goal for this challenge is to be POP for 25/30 days in Sept. (Am I allowed to modify the challenge like that?! lol...let me know if not!) The rest of the days I plan to be OP of course, but my goal of being POP all 30 days might be a little bit unrealistic while I...

Holiday Survival Advice

I am bringing my own treats...veggie dip and baked tostitos with salsa! The veggie dip is on the back of Knoor veggie soup dry mixes...just make it with LF mayo and FF sour cream. It's always a huge hit! My other big challenge is the drinking at all these parties...the hardest part is exercising moderation and sticking to that drink limit I set in the beginning of the night! Also, fitting in exercise is often hard during the busy holiday...

Holiday Survival Advice
Published (2009-12-11 09:39:00)
I am party hopping to three parties this weekend, and I know its going to be a bit of a challenge. I don't really know what food is going to be served at any. My plan is to workout for a long time on Saturday morning - hoping to earn 5-6 APs. At the parties, I will make sure to scope out all the options, load up on healthy options, and decide what is worth it. I plan to stick to drinking wine, not beer, because I drink it slower and it...

Now that I have a load off I can do some personals. Jillian – what did you do for your workout yesterday? Michelle – sorry for the bummer results from P90X. Keep it up for at least 2 more weeks so you have a full month to judge by. If no results, I bet you can even get your money back. Do they make any kind of guarantees? Shelly – WebMD is SO the devil. You will find a million diagnoses for one symptom. Everyone...

Published (2009-11-20 15:23:00)
Hi ladies. I'm so sorry I haven't been around much the past couple of days. I've been OP, but I've been busy. It's just been one of those weeks. I don't know why everyone at work waits until Friday to start sending me stuff and telling me they need on Monday! Jillian - I'm so jealous! I totally wanted to see New Moon at the 12:00 showing, but life just won't allow me to do stuff like that right now....

so sorry to get back to you guys so late. I am fine. It turns out the thing on my leg is a Fibroma. Apparently... i had a bug bite or a small cut or something at one point. it formed scar tissure for some reason (unknown why it was just that spot). Each time i nick it (by shaving.... anything) it does it again and again and that's why it's so big and "growing". It's just a chunk of scar tissue. Also, the Doctor...

I am here!!!!!!! Just a quick check in. I am still in NYC. It has been sooooo great. I've been OP the whole time....no problem. I leave tomorrow for Ohio, so I'll be around more. I've been shopping so much. It's really great to be 1 pound away from my goal and able to shop!!!!! I'm in heaven. And I'm finding soooo many great low point things to eat. It's just been the best. I'll try to check in later and...
