http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2009/10/27/ ny-23_ging... So, why, exactly, did we throw away NY 23? Dede Scazzafava was endorsed by the NRA? I thought she was a left wing republican? She opposed Obama's health plan? SO, what exactly was the reason that the republican party lost this 100 yr old stronghold? Abortion? Gay marraige? That's it? Please tell me there's more and that ...
My two year old son has a habit of making up "jokes" that are basically just an amalgam of nutty thoughts presneted for the sole purpose of eliciting the "curious eye" response from Daddy. He made up a "joke" this morning, that goes something like this... "Q: How do cows go into dark places? A: They throw ketchup!!" That joke had a more comprehensible basis in reality than this post...
AW c'mon Bill. 94% of those pregnancies were among minorities. You stop feeding those minorites with the hard earned dollar of the God fearin' white folks and they'll stop haven' 'em, pronto. There, now, that should save about ten responses from people I have in my P box.
"You stop feeding those minorites with the hard earned dollar of the God fearin' white folks and they'll stop haven' 'em, pronto." Ignore the numbers and go after the "white folks". Typical. "There, now, that should save about ten responses from people I have in my P box." Making it into your p-box is a badge of honor for conservatives. I'm bummed if I get a response to this....
<Which community is that - this is indeed a surprise to me. I thought it was pretty much unanimous by now.> Absolutely not! Actually, it's hilarious to even think of any faith community as being "unanimous" on just about anything. I doubt that there is much unanimity in any given single church on any single issue, especially those where the congregation is NOT encouraged to leave ...
If they didn't have the helicopter service available State would not be getting around much over there. Considering all the PRT's around the country it would be impossible because the military helps but not enough. But one thing for sure is that the contract is extremely expensive. j
I've bought and given away three copies, and at least one of those people in turn has done the same. An especially interesting part, for example, and something I'd never heard or considered, is how the national security apparatus for the US is dysfunctional to the point of being broken. The rest of the world knows it, but US citizens don't, and any politician who would try to fix it ...
http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/17811 Obama, petulant at being challenged, took twenty eight shots at the former administration and blathered about some middle way in dealing with terrorists. Compromise and middle ground are efficacious strategies at PTA meetings; less so with rogue dictators plotting to wipe us off the map. Cheneys choice of words in his most recent interview with Hannity were not random shots: I mean that...
"A growing number of Americans are becoming anxious at Obamas traitorous policies." "Even more incredibly, 5% of those who voted for Obama want him impeached. Proof of the two statements are the prez falling poll numbers.... Actually both statements are obvious lies. Derek
Typical Washington...the problem wasn't a lack of regulation, it was a lack of enforcement. Same with Campaign Finance Reform or Immigration Reform. We have rules that weren't being enforced so why does Washington think passing new laws will be any different. If you want to clean up Wall Street, instead of passing new laws increase the budget at the SEC (and other agencies) for enforcement.
"Even more incredibly, 5% of those who voted for Obama want him impeached. I believe that 5% of voters for every politician will want to impeach the guy they voted for.
No, actually I don't wish Obama ill. I wish him the best personally and I've never come close to saying anything otherwise....unlike the side who made movies about assasinating Bush. Anyway....Paging Patriots and the FBI: http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=27908225&sort=use... "And the Democrats gave him the chairmanship because...? Oh, you know. So he'd vote with them on the important stuff. Like health...
Amen to that. And, just as a reminder, allow me to quote some words that 99% of the libs on this board had no objection to: "He betrayed us!!!! He played on our fears!!" - manbearpig When a VP they like accuses the President of treason, it's not a problem. Whining about Cheney is like all their other rhetoric: hollow.
What broad brush gets used towards you? The "Obama wants to destroy America" brush. -------- We're learning lots about Ray! First he's folically challenged, now he's Obama! The dossier is growing...
January 21, 2008 As Congress debates whether to renew tax cuts enacted early in the George W. Bush presidency, as well as various economic stimulus plans, critics often label the measures as "tax cuts for the rich." Yet a new report from the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) says the Bush tax cuts made the tax code more progressive, no matter how progressivity is measured. In fact, the report concludes that every...
O'Reilly's right. The series has really gone down hill. They will be going along with a typical plot and all of a sudden one of the characters will spout left wing nonsense out of the clear blue sky. Their audience was up around 18 million at one point and has now fallen to 6-8 million perhaps as a result. Free speech is fine, but the network might want to make moves to protect their investment.
