What the hell does it matter if you think emotional abuse is "better" than physical? Who cares? IT IS BAD. Are we only going to try to change things that are really, really, really bad? Ignore the shit that is just really bad? What the hell does it matter?

Please read the above post again. I would hardly say that I was "praising" the guy. It's just that I won't prejudge the extent of what he did, and NOTE that encouragement of such behavior leads to actual physical assault or far worse . I don't see how hoping that somebody was on "the other side" could be construed as "praise".
