Thread: Walther handguns

Anybody have any experience with them? Good or Bad. Looking at this right now http://www.waltheramerica.com/firearms/p99qa.cfm in.40 cal desert.

Many people on some of the boards I peruse love them . So I have heard of them . Looking at an exploded view , its a lot like a Glock or Sigma , with a decocking lever added . I don't like the way it looks though .

A good buddy of mine had a P99 in 9mm and .40 and loves them both.

My only gripe with the P99 is the mag release. I prefer a button as opposed to the lever type on the P99. It just doesn't work well with my hand. Other than that, I love the P99 (shot one in .40). Great ergonomics.
