also, regarding mental illness... i know a great deal about it-- both experientially (not from being ill myself, but from being around it) and from my education/research, and there are very few instances where i will remove someone's agency/responsibility for their actions. you can be mentally ill and still choose your actions. you don't become a mindless zombie just b/c your brain is chemically challenged/imbalanced. you're...
