Thread: Video monitor

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by Iggipolka
Are you using a video monitor to watch your baby at night and during naps?  If so, which brand?  I"m really tempted to spend the money and get one since I'm compulsively going into her room and night to check on her and end up waking her up!

summer video monitor and we LOVE it!  I just got it bc she is rolling over and I wanted to be able to check on her and also we are sleep training so we want to check to be sure that she is ok when she cries.  The best thing we have so far!

We have the same as PPs and I couldn't live without it.  Worth every penny.

I have the Summer brand one that was about $100. We had one with my oldest and I can't imagine NOT having one. I absolutely love knowing what the heck she's doing in her crib... I remember with my oldest I could catch her ripping off her diaper =)

We have the Summer Infant Day and Night Handheld Color Video Monitor from BRU and LOVE it!!!  I would highly recommend a video monitor, I know they are expensive but they are sooo worth it!

Got the same one as everyone else and it's great :)  My baby's room is on a different floor than my room and it gives me great piece of mind! The only thing I wish it had was another thing that was just sound so you could use it other places in the house. Sometimes I dont need the video and I hate moving it because I have it positioned perfectly.

I love, love, LOVEE my monitor, it was a little pricey but worth every penny. It's hand-held, so you can take it anywhere, you can move it around the room and zoom in, plus the night vision, and you can ass up to 4 cameras if you want them in other rooms. Here's a link, apparently it's on sale right now at Target lol http://www.target.com/Summer-Infant-Digital-Video- Monitor/dp/B001NAATW0/ref...

I have a linksys wireless camera.  It was wonderful! I work nights and it works through the internet so I can see her on my phone.  My hubby works 4 hours away during the week and with the camera he can watch our daughter online.

Ok..ya all convinced me. I just ordered the Summer Infant Best View Handheld Color Video Monitor with 2.5" Screen through Amazon.com. It will be at my house tomorrow. She slept last night from 6:30pm to 6:30am and I had to restrain myself from going in and checking on her because I knew it would wake her up. Having that camera last night would have been REALLY helpful and put my mind at ease....
