The djay program for OSX gets a controller w/ built in soundcard called Spin, almost like a VCI-50.

Nothing mind blowing, but not bad for the budget users out there. Will be available at mac stores next week. djay though is a mac only program, although the spin midi ...
@Skeyelab
No need to be an ass about it. This thread was created to see if anyone else has the same problem. This isn't another "Numark is crap" thread.
@DJ/Dholi AkA
Any links about this? can't seem to find it anywhere. Did it happen to you too?

NS7 OWNERS:
We recently learned that a small production run of NS7s had a manufacturing issue that requires a simple rework to a component inside the unit (a single diode with the wrong value was mistakenly used). While we were able to diagnose and correct the issue for the majority of units before they were shipped to our retailers, a small number of units ...

he was not an ass about it. Either you summarized what it is about and then you put the links or you just copy/paste the text if it's not too long. That's just how ...

Its superior to Vista where speed, stability and use of resources is concerned, still not as quick as XP.

Well you start off with deleting a lot of the unneeded crap, applications, drivers, games, etc. You minimize the amount of running services. Windows is a sophisticated advanced OS with many many features ...
That database has been broken for so fucking long. I never thought I'd care
about the DB until I used Traktor and realized how fucking cool having a
working database is. ::grumble::

You really ought to update Traktor. The newer versions are more stable and there are some helpful features added.

Heh, I just got an apc last week and since have stashed my ddm4000. With the control you get there is no real need in having an external mixer like that anymore. Since you would be using ableton you also wouldnt need an external mixer for effects anymore. The kp3 would be ok I guess if you could use it as a controller as well but I dont see it getting you much more over what you would already have with an apc besides having an xy control,...
well to use four decks on traktor you could use traktor scratch pro 2 X1s and a 4 channel mixer .. Check the native instruments site and look at the possible setups.
It sounds like you've had problems with the NS7 hardware itself - can you share your adventure with the Numark support (maybe in another thread?) so that others know what to expect? FWIW, I shared my adventure with a hardware problem. Quote: Originally Posted by DjChewy213 I am now officially on the NS7 die-hard fanboy list. Second only to KLH. I found the hardest thing to do with just a mouse was crossfading. To cheap it out, get a cheap midi controller that features a cross fader and you're golden. You can map every other function to a keyboard. Your onboard sound card will work just fine, but don't expect any pro sounding results from its latency.
Scratch Live is not "officially" supported yet on Windows 7. Some people have had no problems with it, others nothing but issues. It's hard to say.
