went to the range today, couple of rifles & a couple of handguns. Iron sights & bifocals just friggin' sucks. My 44 mag is for hunting, I can scope that. the carry guns I'll just have to keep making do with. but the difference in how I can see the front sight is considerable from just a few years ago.

Smudge, You dont see a difference between isolated nut jobs, and a head of state throwing a party for a convicted terrorist, 1000's of people dancing in the streets, wiping countries off the map? Night and day.

I have nothing but support for Concealed Carry but I dont' have one myself. I really dont' wear enough clothes to pack a pistol as I live in shorts and a t-shirt 90% of the time. The second reason is that I just dont' feel threatened in my part of the world. Normally when running my route; I leave the keys in the ignition with my billfold and checkbook plus the cell phone in the vehicle. Been doing it like that since 1996...
