Thread: VOICE II, cell phone, follow up

Problem resolved through help from BMWMOA, BMWNA & Mischler's HD/BMW of Beaver Dam, WI. Phone cord from VOICE II to cell phone / defective & replaced. The farther you stray from the factory default settings may cause issues with 3-way cell phone capability. Personal observations is that windscreen/helmet interface, (wind buffeting) may also play a role in the total combination. BMWNA ...

VOICE II was reset to factory default settings. My own observations are that one should select a windscreen/helmet combo for driver & passenger that screens out as much wind buffeting as possible. It also helps to close the chin vents when one intends to carry on conversations if possible. One should make adjustments in volume & sensitivity when the bike is at rest, preferably with ...

Forgot to mention; it is recommended that one consult the radio operator's manual & panel display to cancel out the speed/volume control for the external/bike mounted speakers. Not doing so will result in a conflict with one's helmet speakers when using the VOICE II system. Hope this helps.
