You don't have to reboot the node for this. Just restart vmware-mgmt service Code: service vmware-mgmt restart

The kernel has changed and vmware needs to be reconfigured.. run /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl. If the modules are not getting compiled for 2.6.29, then you have to switch to the old kernel version.

try stopping and starting the vmware service. It cannot stop some instances. May be, rebooting is the only way. I don't recommend killing the processes.

VMware reinstalled and its work fine now. Just web interface is very unstable and i must restart web interface every 10-15 min. Where is problem now?
