Azureus did display seeds. You were able to set the "disconnect from other seeds while seeding" option if you didnt want them displayed now and then on your torrent. While it is not altogether indicative of what it is they are contributing for bandwidth, it is not in fact altogether misleading, as it tells you they are at least there. Seeds on large swarms can also hit connection max, either per torrent or globally. (Peers are even more likely to, unless the torrent downloads REAL fast.)
