Dear friends, I have a Toshiba l 300 Satellite Notebook which thankfully is not shipped with Vista (or any OS for that matter). I am an absolute newbie to Linux Distros and have chosen fedora 11 flavor, as my friend in town( Nellore,Andhra Pradesh state in India) uses it and can help me out whenever he can! Dear Mouse Runner, The lap-T is wi-fi certified, but as of now i don't have a wireless modem usb installed and firing on all 12 cyliders! The Network Manager did not automatically configure and accept the usb. I have been surfing the web and found these posts from : http://www.chip.in/forums/viewtopic....50662&p=456 010 .
