Archiving just zips a file so there isn't any point in zipping a zipped file a second time.

OOPS!!! My bad. Here's an edit of my topic:
Edit: Every time I try to unarchive a certian ZIP file, i get the message "Unable to unarchive Error 1 (Operation could not be completed.)" How can I fix this? I've heard that this is because of a corrupt ZIP Archive. So how can this be fixed?

What does Console log say about this? Any details given? It could be a problem with the download, a problem with the utility, or a problem with the file. If the file is truly corrupt I don't know of any Mac utilities that can attempt a repair.

That's one of those infomercial style web sites that talks about "free" but it's just the download that's free, not the utility. Then too when you click on the individual file details all those utilities are PC utilities even though they say OSX (to lure you in).
I seem to recall a discussion a while ago about zip repair and there isn't anything available on Mac platform....
Is this the name of the compressed file, "BoeingPod5Cut12.mov"?
.mov is a Quicktime movie file, not a zipped file.
You can also try a utility such as The Unarchiver to unzip files. Sometimes one utility can accomplish what another cannot.

I have to agree, the most likely scenario is a bad file. As I mentioned earlier, I don't think there are any Mac utilities for attempting a repair. "Repair" is somewhat vague. If a file is bad it is missing data, and likely this data is critical to the running of the file. If you could repair this file (say, on a PC) you still might end up with a corrupt movie file which might refuse to play. Even if the movie plays it might...

I think I solved the problem. At least in my case I configured several Automators to compress my files and save the zips to an external drive. In Snow Leopard however Automator things have changed in some cases. After I recompiled my workflows everything works fine. Here is the secret that worked for me. Don't bother with the "TERMINAL" Make a backup then, Try to open the zip file dragging it to your desk top and clicking on it... When you unarchive the file the process begins when you double click on the zip file- then you get the "error #1 operation not permitted" or some message like that... when you click "OK" then the process will close and state "cleaning...
