Thread: Ultimate Display

Started 4 weeks ago by nikos525
Am in the process of completing my new display for my TT - pics will be up soon , if you could have a mulit-function display which could display 6 parameters from your ecu what would they be? My APX engine doesn't allow me to display oil temp - so unfortunately thats off the cards, was thinking: Water temp Boost Intake temp Mass Air Flow O2 Throttle position It will look a little like this:...

Can you explain a little about what this is going to look like? and where are you going to install this for display. Sounds very interesting!

That's out of the GTR. If you could make something like that you'd be a hero in my book.

As I'm fitting a car pc into my TT it has opened a whole other world as far as what I can do with the parameters from my ecu. The original photos are from the Nissan GTR, as has been pointed out as it is one of the sweetest displays i've seen I decided to build from scratch ones that are almost indentical & all will be displayed on my 7" touch screen display which will go into my double din ...

I think they look awesome in the GTR's...would love to see it in a TT...not sure where it would go though

Smarties will be displayed on a 7"screen in my double din holder: This was my intial idea about fitting a double din HU but changed my mind now will be just a screen with the parameters displayed similar to the ones above in the GTR.

Maybe take a look at: http://www.devtoaster.com/products/rev/ It should be pretty easy if someone knows a bit of basic programming to get something similar running on a small car pc. There is plenty of open source software available.
