http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&si d=ae847z_sopUE&pos=5 Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. unemployment rate may rise
to a post-World War II high of 13 percent in the aftermath of
the recession, said David Rosenberg , chief economist at Gluskin
Sheff & Associates Inc. in Toronto.
“This is going to be the mother of all jobless
recoveries,” Rosenberg, one of ...
Ho hum... complete waste of time, no economic war, just printing more money flood the system create a 2nd Bubble to replace the first Bubble that just burst... The sign a new Bubble has been created is that we are having a "JOBLESS RECOVERY", there is no such thing... (its like trying to be half pregnant)... we have successfully created a new Bubble, the Bubble of the ever shrinking US Dollar ...
Thank You. Over my lifetime, we have had a fed. whose main purpose was, to keep inflation under control. It is hard to believe that our Fed, would betray the citizenry, and move in the opposite direction, to help the banks, but that is what it seems, is happening at this time. What may disturb you even more than your recent revelation would be to chart inflation over our entire Colonial and ...
So when I bought a slice of pizza which was .15 in 1963 with a coke that was .10; it wasn't because the cost of that coke and pizza ingredients over time went up in price due to inflation.... it was a conspiracy? The market moves in an escalating pattern or at least it has for the last 100 years due to the amount of people who use goods and services. When more people want something all at...
Invest in natural gas, especially while the price is low. Use of natural gas has increased with use of wind. IMOH, this is the safe play, there are too many companies going after to small a pot, some will win, but others will loose, you have to be very smart, I feel natural gas like BP, is the correct play.
The term is also used to describe "ground-sourced" heat pump systems for heating and cooling which consume electricity, where buried tubing is used to exchange heat with the nearly constant temperature earth. This can be implemented virtually everywhere. The heat exchange tubing has to be at least a few feet below the frost zone, but the bores do not have to be vertical and several hundred ...
Well I am short the market some (about one third my trading account). I have believed the market will sell off soon as I believe it is overvalued relative to earnings/economy/elliot wave analysis/sentiment/etc. But I'm a little nervous as I just read a Micheal Pento post on safe haven. http://www.safehaven.com/article-14356.htm The Fed just pumped $86 billion into the base money ...
?Like you said, What marriage of government and industry? and you were told, Let's see...the government now owns large portions of major banks, the auto industry, insurance companies, and now they're trying to take over the health industry. What rock have you just crawled out from underneath? In addition, our fearless leader just circumvented the legislative branch by having the EPA classify CO2 as "dangerous" so that they...
We need mark-to-market back so that the system can be expunged. That won't happen. News reporting tonight suggests we're going back further and about to actually touch documents again. None too soon. From what I've seen out here lately, the review of files will be interesting.
The sense of entitlement and getting things for nothing that is so prevalent in society today is as much?responsible for the financial crisis we face as all the banks and brokerage houses on Wall Street. Instead of blaming everyone else under the sun for our problems, instead of creating scapegoats and sitting comfortably on our thrones of superiority, we should all take a serious look in the mirror I agree completely. While there may be a...
MR!!!! Lincoln, ?Check you heading.. 3% is needed with large $100,000 CD and I think also BOE is about the same in the M3 zone. Also banks require a Confensating balance.? I know my overnight funds only earn 0.01% so it is hard for the bank not to make almost 50% as each $ = $33.33 in loans.. This is why we should see the bank re-build capital in short order. German Hypobank had a capital ratio of 1 to 100 as did most of the Iceland based.?...

I'll never find them again, but maybe, some time soon. . . We simply don't know what will happen and we're not expected to control it. I know about kudzu. . . nothing about cotton except the end product is harder to iron than synthetics! O&G, When I was much younger, a great wise woman told me this "nothing real is ever lost."? I believe that the physical universe is inherently unstable but that the spirit and...
LOL there was a lady on Frontline a Kathy Brown??? who thought she would become the Attorney General under the Clinton Administration as she was a lawyer and knew Mrs. Clinton. However she was given the post of head of the?federal over sight of the trading exchanges. She read in a newspaper about Chase or another bank being suing for loss of money in a credit swap default trade that went south. ? She determined that the $20 trillion dollar...
NON-Illegitimi? Carborundum? ? No thanks. I am trying to cut down. ? The good news(if there is any here)is that finding money is so easy...crooks have a BIG problem, they must hide the bucks in a stable jurisdiction or risk having their stolen money.....stolen!
