The cover picture for Vietnam magazine December 2009 shows a hoist rescue by the crew of an HH-43. It is listed as "Air Force pararescue Jumpers hoist a wounded soldier of deep in the jungle in 1966" and was apparently from the Larry Burrows collection.
Does anyone have any information about this photo? I lived with several pilots of Detachment 6, 38th ARRSq based at Bien Hoa Air Base ...
