OH NO not another loosing battle!!! Look the Federal Government is "of the people by the people and for the people!" and we better take it back!! We the people had better wake up! Our founding fathers knew what could happen with a complacent society and now we are witnessing what it was they saw. Until all Congressmen, past & present, and all Presidents vote to take this health ...

Hello, you are fighting a losing battle. The reality is that based on precedent there is very little the federal government cannot justify as within its scope. Has it ever occurred to you that a literal, 18th-century reading of the Constitution may not be best for this country?

Unfortunately, not being American means I am ignorant of most of the US Constitution. I know the "that all men were created equal" part and that the second amendment is the right to bear arms but that's about it. I am also assuming that George Washington had a lot to do with it. Of course, I haven't even read the Australian Constitution. Boring!

Has anyone read the Australian Constitution? The Americans learn about theirs. We don't.

Exaggerating the severity of questionable sections of the bill? Definitely. Creating lies? That might be going a bit far. There is something behind what they're saying, just not as clear-cut or egregious as some portray it. Take the death-panel thing. Was the wording such that a mandatory death panel would decide to enact euthanasia? No. But there was an item (which the Senate just removed) that provided end-of-life counseling for...
