Who sent you the link? Adobe hasn't sold Acrobat 8 in a very long time.

Hello, I recently received a link from Adobe to download this software but cannto access it. I have tried it with Internet Explorer and Firefox to an avail. I do not think it is the link since I had it checked from Adobe. It seems to be something in the browser that I cannot find. BTW I have downloaded and tried the trial version of Adobe Acrobat 9.0 and it was downloaded and works just fine....

How recent is the link? Some links can be designed to be time limited. You will probably have to contact the people who sent you the link to provide a new link.

Did they give you a user name and password for the FTP? If so, try this: ftp.cs.adobe.com/Acrobat/WIN/v8_Professional/Acrob at_Pro _8.zip

Hey Thanks. I tried this also by removing so letter from the link and came to the FTP login. However, they did not give me a login or password. Any thoughts as to what it might be?
