Thread: Trying to Remember NES Wrestling Game

Started 3 months, 1 week ago by AcidSoldner
This was a game I spent a lot of time with as a child. I would go over to my cousin's house all the time to play this and Super Mario Bros. Anyways besides being a wrestling game the most distinguishing thing I can remember was that one of the wrestlers, and my favorite, had pink skin and had a blue star across his face. Any ideas?

I have been playing the HECK out of this game recently! I downloaded it for Wii a little while ago, due to IGN's ScrewAttack - Gamevault review. If you're unfamiliar with the game, it was originally developed for the Super Nintendo - and was one of the last Super Nintendo games to be released for the system and didn't really get much advertisement. Too bad too, cause this game is exceptional...

I think you're talking about Pro Wrestling. The character is Starman. This dude?

I liked The Amazon and King Kang Karn. Star Man hit that Back flip kick though and the match is over. I lied Tecmo's Wrestling gamebetter though but Pro wrestling was and still is a great game.

I spent months and months and months playing Pro Wrestling with my brother. He'd always do the Starman Backflip which would drive me crazy at times.

The only wrestling game on the Nes in can think of is Punch-Out!

I've probably beaten it 50 times.

Beaten it countless times. Glad others are getting the chance to play it.

Yes, I love this game. I've beat it many times and am glad others are feeling the same way about it that I do...that it's an amazing game, though I don't know how many realize this epic classic is out there.

Wow-great, also glad to hear I'm not the only one. And yeah, it's unfortunate taht others don't know about this game...? Most of my personal Gamer Buddies dont have a Wii - a bit to "casual" for thier tastes and won't be able to play. Ah well, I'm still playing though. A real kewl thing i've recently been feeling about this game is, since I had never heard nor played the game when I was a kid,...

My friend had it for SNES, it's been a long time since I've played it. I always wanted my own copy, but never got it. I'll probably download it off of the Virtual Console sometime.
