Thread: Truth Behind Anti-Drug Commercials

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by ThePowerDigger
ordable.com — Anti-drug commercials are silly. A lot of them are senseless. A lot of them are lies. And they seem to have this motif that couches are evil and it's okay for non-smokers to be complete ***** to smokers. (If you don't like what they do, just don't hang out with them.) But these commercials have hidden meanings, lingering just beneath the surface

‘The reefer is called a roach because it resembles a cockroach... cockroach... cockroach.’ ‘What the ***** are these people talking about’ my attorney whispered ‘You’d have to be crazy on acid to think a joint looked like a goddamn cockroach!’

Okay, just so I know (since it changes every day) is Digg supporting or against smoking today? I guess that's the problem with being a liberal. You both support legalizing pot and banning smoking at the same time.

I'm quite sure it's public smoking, not smoking in general. Public smoking infringes on the public's right to not breathe in harmful air in the form of smoke. What you do in your own home is your business. Same as in your bedroom (as long as it's between consenting adults).

Or just link them to people with screen names like 'burrdugg". It should scare the living ***** out of kids to never act like a self righteous tool again.

The main problem is that if you lie to kids about marijuana, they won't believe you about things that may actually kill them, like alcohol, cigarettes, meth or not using a condom.

'They will indulge in the "it couldn't happen to me because I'm too smart and know where my boundaries are" illusion. ' I AM too smart for that to happen. And I DO know where my boundaries are. I will never go beyond alcohol and pot. And, quite frankly, I'll never actually become a pothead, because there are sometimes I actually DISLIKE about pot (I sometimes get nasty paranoia which makes the...

You see Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve and now you can't stand to look at yourself in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body is used up by age 19 you're going to be a worn out, chalky skinned burlap sack that even your step dad won't want. How's that? Am I in the ballpark?...

It must really be true because you said the word 'retarded' and you used a BOLDED universal (ANY). With something like strawberries, some one can say you want some? and you say no, and they are like oh ok. With drugs and alcohol, they will be like Why not? come on, try it, tryyy it, and put a ton of pressure on the person to do it. And most of the time they wont stop until the person does. Marijuana doesnt destroy people, but it is a...

Actually, historically, no. I'm completely right. There's no easier example than the USSR. Just because you don't understand how business works and influences the world doesn't mean you need to spout and nonsensical pop phrases. Got any substance to your ideas? Retort Fail, Bitch!

These so-called effects are just that. Effects. They're not benefits at all. They are not permanent. To enjoy any of these "effects", one has to smoke up constantly. That's it. Man can live without cannabis and we have been for the past five thousand years. I think we're better off living life using purely our brains and not substances that alter the way our brain works temporarily.
