Thread: Tracking WBL

Hi all Does anyone have any really effective ways to track achievement of WBL, so that management can see at a glance how far an apprentice has got through their framework? Some of the apprentices have such a varied scope in the NVQ, that they rarely show unit achievement in the first half of their programme. On paper this looks as if they have achieved nothing! Hi Scarlet Always a tricky one as learners often dont complete units in isolation - they all then to fall into place at the end. Some providers use 'Frame up' as a tracker which is supposd to be quite good -others estimate a percentage of the framework or NVQ that is complete by looking at unit achievement etc. Estimating a percentage is probably the way to go - LSC and ...

Thanks Zinzan Percentages seem to be the way to go, but are difficult to accurately describe the achievement. I haven't looked at Frame up, but intend to start now! Anyone else dealing with Apprentices out there? S

What is the qualification you are trying to track?

Thanks Zinzan Percentages seem to be the way to go, but are difficult to accurately describe the achievement. I haven't looked at Frame up, but intend to start now! Anyone else dealing with Apprentices out there? S
