Initially, I posted this ride here...and redirected all to the thread in the events section. I wanted to keep things simple and not clutter up the threads in the Midwest section. Now, that the Hilbert/End of rides are history, it's time to get folks fired up about this ride, and since it takes place in the Midwest, I figured this was the place to do it. Both threads ( this one and the one...
Thanks Lars, Work has been very hectic lately, and I've been ignoring my projects. I need to get back in the groove. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dance.gif )
Hey everyone - you have to be sure that you try to attend this or at least purchase a shirt or two or three or more.... everything is NON PROFIT - so ALL of the money collected for this event thru donations and sales of shirts will be donated 100%. We would like for ATVNation forum people to really show their hearts out there and do what they can for the little kids that dont have ...
Well said Bobbi... and may I add....this ride will be great for purely selfish reasons as well. The Seeley Hills area trails are great fun. We did an 'Inspection ride' a few weeks ago. Had a great time. Some trails are tight and fast ( very smooth) some nice hills...it's not Idaho but it's not North Dakota either. The hardwood forest should still have some color then ( I hope) ..but ...
I'm so excited about this ride, (IMG: style_emoticons/default/yahoo.gif ) it is the next big ride for us. And just doing the planning is getting me more excited. The way we have every thing planned, you are guaranteed a great time. You don't want to miss this ride people.!! And most of you know that when the Hfamily is around you, you ARE going to have a good time and laugh your butt ...
(IMG: style_emoticons/default/party0011.gif ) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/teufel141.gif ) Even if you don't ride, come for the FUN and to support this great cause. I haven't been to the Lakewoods for a number of years, but I remember it as a very nice place. $99, plus tax of course, for 2 nights is a bargain.
QUOTE (ATV_Greg @ Sep 28 2009, 08:24 AM) Good job everybody, looks like the start of an annual event ride. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/You_Rock_Emoticon.gif ) Ya know "Annual" was brought up a lot this weekend! If we get the good response that we are anticipating, it could very well become a annual event. But right now I'm going with" The event of 2009". This is going to be...
I've gotten a wonderful reception from businesses and individuals I asked for donations. They're all very supportive of Toys For Tots. This is shaping up to be a GREAT event (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tu2.gif ) Call the Lakewoods for reservations and make plans to attend (IMG: style_emoticons/default/1959.gif ) GrizzRider's Birthday/Halloween party, then the Toys For Tots ride. I don't know if I can have that much fun 2...
I know your phones didn't ring.........but those pancakes were a churning and a rolling and it took a bit to calm down, otherwise your phone would of been ringing........so as you enter that place how do you find those grassy spots to park, all I saw was that side parking to the left of the front doors, opposite of Bobbi's truck..........
QUOTE (dipstick @ Sep 25 2009, 07:29 PM) GrizzRider's Birthday/Halloween party, then the Toys For Tots ride. I don't know if I can have that much fun 2 weekends in a row, but I'll sure give it the old college try. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/yeahthat.gif ) I think I may have to start working out (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif ) (yeah right, can you say 12oz. curl), just like Rocky, so I'm able...
A toy box/storage trunk for my grand daughter (that sounds odd, like I am old or something). I started with 8, 10 foot planks 1 inch think. its been a PITA but its starting to come together. Ok, going with biscuits then
QUOTE (Hgirl96 @ Sep 19 2009, 12:12 PM) Let us know what and when you collect something and we will set something up to collect the toys or cash. Not a big deal to plan a road trip. Then you can see the sled pals we talked about. Leann Sounds great, Leann! I'll be in touch...
