Thread: Toyota Avensis 1.8 vvt enigine noise

Sorry my mistake, that was supposed to read "there are no warning lights coming on" . I will put up a video of the said noise. I called Mr-T this morning and they have me booked in for Tuesday, the chap at the Workshop listened to the sound via my phones loud speaker and said it was pretty hard to tell, but it might be an injector malfunction. I shall get a video up for you guys soon as.

What warning lights came on? Stick a video / sound file up if you can, otherwise i think its pretty impossible to say.

As ShamelessTT said. The car's trying to tell you something when the warning lights come on, so that's your first line of inquiry.
