Thread: Toshiba satellite ram??

As you all must know by now.. the laptop = toshiba satellite a135 s2276.. was sold with 512mb of ram when vista clearly needs more to run somewhat fast. I was wondering if you guys could do some research or somewhat to tell me if the ram i'm about to post will work with this laptop. I already know that this laptop has 2 memory slots and only has 1 ram chip inside it, so will this type of ram ...

The Toshiba Satellite A135-S2276 uses DDR2 (533MHz) 200pin SODIMM RAM and can take a maximum of 2GB. Koala, on a crucial.com scan it says i have like 677 mhz speed or something..

I'm just going on the specs from the reviews.cnet link. If you're sure you entered the details into crucial.com correctly, go for the 677MHz RAM. It will slow down to 533MHz if that's the motherboard's maximum speed, but still work perfectly well. To confirm the specs, download CPU-Z and click the SPD tab at the top of the window. The speed of your installed RAM will be listed under ...
