So i dunk the ball with 2 hands, swinging off the rim i come down on my left leg awkwardly. One of the worst pains I ever felt. Two and half years is a long time to go with this type of injury. I would think that in that amount of time your body has found ways to compensate for this injury and that there is quite a bit of scar tissue that maybe to blame for the almost normal strength in the extremity. I have had torn meniscus in my knee for some time now and all I get is a pain every so often and cracking sound when I ...

Everyone told me the same thing " Sprain " even our trianer said that.. I did have lots of problems landing, running was ok unless i tried to stop quick then it would go out on me.. After countless amount of times of it going out on me I went for a scope... Torn ...

[QUOTE=BruceLeroy1984;406281761]Yea this is what I was saying in my post earlier. With the allograft the overall pain is less but it will take a longer time to fully heal. Ive done alot of research on this over the past couple of weeks and overall the allograft only has a high failure rate for those who return to sports to early. There were also alot of test done on the strength of an allograft vs an autograft and after a year they are pretty...

I went through 12 months following injuring my knee. I continued to play ball and squat but I was relatively weak and ended up hurting it again. I had surgery 8 months ago and now my knee feel amazing. Now by brother has not had surgery and its been 3 years since the original ACL tear (complete). He plays ball, and has some great hops. It depends on the individual, my knee felt completely unstable, his feels stable enough. Good luck with...
