A spin-off from the well-taken Top 25 comedies, will cast the net a little bigger, this time I wanna hear about your favourite dramas
You've got your traditional nucleuses (nuclei?) of dramatic fare, law enforcement (Law & Order, CSI, Columbo and NYPD Blue), hospitals (Chicago Hope,ER, Grey's Anatomy) and rich dirty families (Dynasty, Dallas, Brothers and Sisters, and Dirty Sexy Money)...
I can't imagine the older dramas doing too well. It's not like sitcoms where they are syndicated to death so we've all seen them at one point or another. I've never seen one minute of a "Dallas" episode, for example. I don't even know if I'll be able to come up with 25.

I ...
It'll be interesting with strong favorites such as The Shield and The Sopranos (oddly enough, two shows that won't appear on my list at all, seeing I never got into them).
However, there are cult favorites such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and current favorite, Battlestar Galactica.
Also I could see shows like Doctor Who on this list from us nerds...I mean sci-fan fans, plus the list of Star...

I'm making up a list the now. Be warned its very Brit/Scottishcentric and reeks of high geekdom, but thats me.

Sent mine in. Unlike the Top 25 Sitcoms, I didn't just do stuff off the top of my head. I did research, and I'm very thankful, because there were some I completely forgot.
My top 5 were easy, however, after that, I had to make some tough decisions, but I am now happy with my list.
Of course, as soon as we start posting the top 25, I'll probably kick myself for missing some.

I liked Studio 60. I was a huge West Wing fan and saw some of the same type of writing in Studio 60 that I saw in West Wing. Great character drama. However, Sorkin is only good at dry humor, and that doesn't work if you're doing a show about comedy. He should have honestly brought some people in to write the sketches. Real sketch show comedy writers. They did finally get some people on board toward the end (couple of guys from Kids...
