Thread: Took carbs off today for cleaning (87 Ninja 750)

And wouldn't you know it, the shop left a pice out of the carbs when they (fixed) them. I pulled the main jets out of each carb, but only three of the little pieces which the needle jet slides into...where in there. I don't know how this would affect the bike, but one of them simply was not there. IMO, they never did clean them. The carb that was missing the little piece appeared to be the only ...

Some kits are universal in the fact that they will work for several models. Because of this you may end up with parts in your kit that are not for your specific model. It's been my experience that most universal kits are not the best quality, but if it works that's great.
