YAY for her! What an inspiration to the rest of us. I started TKD a few years ago after years of telling myself I was too old. Good thing for me I wasn't able to convince myself because just a few months ago and I got my black belt and acheived a life long goal. I'm so proud of me that I'm currently in the process of talking myself into starting something else I've always wanted to do.....

Great for her!!!!!    I just loved seeing that and it's what I'm working towards myself.  (Well, maybe not setting shot put records, but living my life to the fullest)  I want to be just like that in my senior years. Ninety five percent of seniors I see have a very poor quality of life because of health issues.  I want to be the 5% that are still going strong.

Amen to that Terri! I see how my Mom's quality of life has deteriorated and I do not want to end up like that!
