Thread: Toll Roads MCO to I-4

Started 1 month ago by Altamom
Hello there. Wondering as to how many toll roads, their location and whether they are "exact change" on the drive from MCO to Exit 55 on the I-4. Thank-you.

528 or 417 are the 2 toll roads both are not exact change, you can get change/receipts Each road is sign posted on exit of the airport Exit 55 is Davenport area? You can take either, but I would suggest 417, keep going all the way until the end where it joins onto I-4... then I-4 West to Exit 55

If I am going south on I4 (which you are if you are looking for exit 55), I use the South exit of MCO and take the 417. This is a toll road, but if you keep right you can pay and get change so don't need exact change. It will take you to the I4 (aorund exit 62 I think but not sure), which is not a toll road. Whatever you do, keep out of the left lanes as they are Sunpass and ...

There are a few exits off the 417 that are automated and you need exact change, but not in your case if you are going to the I4.

As said, there are two from the airport...but you'll only be on one of them depending on if you exit north or south. as suggested, for your destination, exit south for 417 south and take it to the end/I-4. while one toll road there will be multiple stops. stay right for cash as well as change/receipts. it should be just over $3 in total.

Thank you very much. So if I'm understanding correctly, I will take the south exit to the 417 and though I stay on it all the way to the I-4, I will need to look for several places along it to stop and pay tolls. Hopefully they are all clearly marked!

that's correct. they are...but again, be careful not to be left and go through the high speed toll lanes...it's almost like exiting to get to the cash booths.

If you're feeling really nervous you can always do a mock drive on google street view ;)
